“Look, I am coming as a thief.
Blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments on, lest he walk naked and his shame be exposed.”
Rev. 16:15
“For you know perfectly that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night..” 1 Thess.5;2
When Jesus says He is coming as a thief, He is simply saying that He will come unexpectedly. He even mentions how a thief comes unexpectedly, but if the owner knew when the thief was coming, he would be awake waiting.
“Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come. 43 But know this, that if the owner of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not have let his house be broken into. Matt.24:42-43.
Jesus wants His people to be alert, waiting for His coming:
“But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all the sons of light and the sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep as others do. But let us be alert and sober.” 1 Thess.5.
Right before Jesus mentions about coming as a thief, in that same chapter of Matthew 24:37-39 Jesus also compares His return to the days of Noah. Remember, Noah didn’t know the day or hour when the flood would come, nevertheless he worked with his family for many years building the ark & preparing to be ready for that day. But during that time Noah also witnessed to that ungodly generation.
36 “Concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two will be in the field; one will be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and the other left.
42 “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come. Matthew 24
Noah was a righteous man because he believed God. Hebrew 11:7 says:
By faith Noah, being divinely warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to save his family, by which he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.
“For if God did not spare the angels that sinned, . . . 5 and if He did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly; 2 Peter 2:5.
During the days of Noah the wickedness of man was great, Gen.6:5 and the earth was filled with violence. When God judged the world during Noah’s time, the ark was used to save an entire family (humanity). For the time of the final judgment of God Jesus is our Ark of salvation.
In the days of Noah there were also giants (Nephellins) Gen.6:1-4, many believe fallen angels (2 Peter 2:4 & Jude 1:6) mated with women, & their offspring were the Nephellins or giants & it is said this was the main reason for the flood, because the DNA of men was corrupted. Because what is mentioned also in the book of Daniel 2:43, many believe in these final days we will see again ‘aliens’ or Nephellins & terrible things because the wickedness of man.
We know the enemy always try to imitate God (2 Cor.11:14-15). There is even a brotherhood that call themselves ‘The sons of Noah’. They even use the ark of Noah in their symbolism because they consider him the 1st builder. They follow other books & reject Jesus teachings. And since the Holy Spirit of God is only given to those that repent & confess Jesus Christ, Acts 2:38, & the Holy Spirit is our teacher (Jn.14:26, Lk.12:12, 1Jn 2:27, etc), therefore these other groups & the pseudo Christians are in error, interpreting the Word of God as they choose, esoterically.
I want you to be aware of this because they are causing a lot of confusion, all that glitters is not gold, hence the importance of you studying well your Bibles. This group has many in positions of leadership, (even inside the Church), & are planning to use a natural event (a rain of meteors or meteors belt) to use it as an excuse, & enhance artificially its effects to flood the coasts, to gain more control of the population of the earth & bring their new system with their false savior.
Just be aware what the enemy is trying to do, so you are not deceived into the false light they proclaim, they will probably add gnostic books to the Old Testament, implement new religious laws, the laws of Noah (Noahide) for the entire world, a new rainbow money & will deny Jesus as God. But don’t be afraid of what may come, instead fix you eyes on Him the Savior of your soul. And every time you see a sign, news or talk about Noah’s Ark, (even if it comes from them) think about the true Biblical meaning & the promises of God through Jesus Christ for you & your love ones.
