Romans 16:17- Avoid a Divisive Person?

This entry is part 4 of 5 in the series Misuse of Bible verses

Some Christian teachers proudly proclaim they embrace everybody & their beliefs, because they don’t want to be divisive. This may sound good to many of you, but is not a biblical teaching. Some may even consider themselves a better person because of this ecumenical approach & cite part of Romans 16:17 as proof for that:

‘Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences’

Gospel of John- Chap. 1

This entry is part 1 of 17 in the series John

Even all four gospels are complementary and all tell about the story of Jesus, the gospel of John is different from the gospel of Matthew, Mark & Luke. The differences between these three Gospels and John’s include the language used, the timeline, the material covered, e.g. there is no record of the genealogy of Jesus’ birth or childhood, but also there is a unique approach by John to the life and ministry of Jesus, giving emphasis to the Divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Biblical Meditation vs. Eastern Meditation

This entry is part 7 of 9 in the series Mysticism

I will meditate (H7878) on Your precepts and keep my eyes on Your ways. I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your wordPsalms 119:15-16

My soul will be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth will praise You with joyful lips. When I remember You on my bed, and meditate (H1897) on You in the night watches, because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. Psalms 63:6-7

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation (H1902) of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Psalms 19:14

Resurrection Sunday!

Most Christians celebrated in their homes Palm Sunday to commemorate Jesus’ triumphal entry in Jerusalem (Matt. 21:1-11; Mk. 11:1-11; Jn. 12:12-16).  History asserts that the earlier Palm Sunday was observed in the Greek Church in the 4th century, but there are no signs of the observance before that time. Many churches around the world use palm branches, processions, etc. This year 2020 because of the Corona-virus pandemic many will celebrate also Resurrection Sunday in their homes. We just want to encourage you, not to be sad because this year you cannot celebrate according to your traditions, but instead reflect on Jesus, what He really did on those days, who He really is, etc. Please also pray for the people that are sick & most importantly that many will receive salvation on the middle of these times of trouble. Psalm 91

This entry is part 10 of 11 in the series Psalms

Do to the coronavirus crisis I have seen many false teachers lately & people in social media, quoting Psalm 91, like it is a protective amulet or a magic spell, even when many of these people that quote it have been disregarding God’s Word in their lives for many years. Sadly they try to get their comfort reciting words out loud to calm their minds & don’t realize what is the most important part that Psalm 91 is talking about, which will bring them the real peace & comfort they are looking for in their distressful times.

Studying the Bible – pt. 3

This entry is part 4 of 5 in the series Bible Study

After our Lord’s resurrection, the first instructions or commission He gave to His disciples was:

Then the eleven disciples went away to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him. But some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples (G3100) of all nations (G1484=Non Jewish, gentiles, heathen world), baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.  Matthew 28:16-20

Pachamama worship in the Vatican

This entry is part 2 of 7 in the series One World Religion

Many Catholics are outraged  for either the idol worship of Pachamama in the Vatican or the nude statue used to represent the Virgin Mary in the celebration of the Amazonian Synod, October 6-27, 2019 at the Vatican. For the first time in many centuries (I will say since Luther’s Reform) 100 priests & lay scholars signed a document to protested against this act & Pope Francis:

Studying the Bible – pt. 2

This entry is part 3 of 5 in the series Bible Study

How to start studying the Bible ?

1/ As we mentioned in Pt. 1 first than anything, we need to be born again in order to receive the Holy Spirit of God who will teach us and help us understand His Word.

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

Healing in the Atonement?

This entry is part 9 of 9 in the series Unsound Doctrines

New Apostolic Reformation’s (NAR) teachers claim they alone preach a unique (different) gospel, the ‘gospel of The Kingdom’ and part of their gospel is that while living on earth ALLphysical healing‘ is included/paid in the atonement.

First of all beloved, let us clarify that we believe in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit & believe that God heals today, but we also know the gospel of ‘salvation’ that the apostles preached was this:.
