After more than three months of conflict in the Middle East, the United States and Iran have agreed to a peace deal.
Shehbaz Sharif the Pakistani Prime Minister, announced that both countries have reached an agreement to immediately and permanently halt military operations, with a formal signing ceremony scheduled for June 19 in Switzerland. ( 111 days after conflict started).
U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed the deal, describing it as a breakthrough that would bring “peace and security” to the WHOLE region. He also announced the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of the U.S. naval blockade.
UN Secretary- António Guterres has welcomed the agreement between the United States and Iran. He stated: “This is a crucial step towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict”. He expressed the hope that all parties would now “double their efforts for a definitive resolution of the conflict”.
Strangely this deal made on Trump’s birthday doesn’t include Israel! & same day Israel was bombing residential buildings in densely populated neighborhoods of Beirut (Lebanon).
Many are very optimistic, and I understand, we all want real peace, not just a cease fire, but I think we should wait a little time to see, this seems to be a very fragile agreement that hasn’t been signed yet. The words of VP Vance on Iran: ‘Lots of details still to sort out’, then how everyone said the deal is done? Also we need to find out what Iran requirements are, how we are going to meet them, who is going to pay Iran 300 billions in reconstruction funds to rebuild what was destroyed, etc ?
Please intercede for this nation and be prepared physically & spiritually for what is coming, I think we really are about to enter the time of America’s darkness & judgment. Many will go home, the Lord gave me recently Isaiah 57:1-2;
The righteous perishes,
