One of my favorite books of the Bible happens to be the book of Isaiah<\/strong>. And lately I have heard some people misinterpreting this book.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

So first let us pray to God for His Holy Spirit to teach us & help us understand His Word. After that, please let us read this chapter or you can listen<\/a> to it. This book was written by the prophet Isaiah around 739 B.C. & the Lord gave him this prophecy about a future<\/strong> time. See Isaiah 60<\/a><\/p>\n

Arise, shine; For your light has come!<\/span>
\nAnd the glory of the Lord<\/strong> is risen upon you.
\n2
\nFor behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,<\/strong>
\nAnd deep darkness<\/strong> the people; But the Lord will arise over you<\/span>,
\nAnd His glory will be seen upon you.
\n3
\nThe Nations shall come to your light,<\/span>
\nAnd kings to the brightness of your rising<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cLift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together<\/span>, they come to you<\/strong>;
\nYour sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
\n5
\nThen you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy<\/strong>;
\nBecause the abundance of the sea<\/strong> shall be turned to you<\/strong>,
\nThe wealth of the nations shall come to you<\/span>.<\/strong>
\n6
\nThe multitude of camels shall cover your land,
\nThe dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba shall come;
\nThey shall bring gold and incense<\/span>, And they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>

\nAll the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you,
\nThe rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar,
\nAnd I will glorify<\/span> the house of My glory.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\u201cWho are these who fly like a cloud,
\nAnd like doves to their roosts?
\n9
\nSurely the coastlands shall wait for Me<\/span>;
\nAnd the ships of Tarshish<\/strong> will come first, To bring your sons from afar,
\nTheir silver and their gold with them<\/strong>, To the name of the Lord your God<\/span>,
\nAnd to the Holy One of Israel, Because He has<\/strong> glorified you<\/strong><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThe sons of foreigners shall build up your walls,<\/span>
\nAnd their kings shall minister to you;
\nFor in My wrath I struck you, But in My favor I have had mercy on you.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We read in Isaiah 59<\/a> that sin separates us from God, then vs. 20 says “The Redeemer<\/strong> shall come<\/strong> to Zion <\/span>and to those<\/strong> who turn from<\/strong> transgression<\/span> in Jacob, <\/span><\/span>says the Lord”<\/span>. Then vs. 21 mentions the covenant<\/strong>. “As for Me,\u201d says the Lord<\/span>, \u201cthis is<\/i><\/strong> My covenant<\/span> with them<\/strong>: My Spirit<\/span> who is<\/i> upon you, and My words<\/span> <\/strong>which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth<\/span>, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants\u2019 descendants,\u201d says the Lord<\/span>, \u201cfrom this time<\/strong> and forevermore.\u201d <\/span>So this prophecy in Chapter 59 was fulfilled when Jesus the Redeemer<\/strong> came to earth. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
