1.<\/b> We believe the Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given and preserved in the Received Text and the Hebrew Masoretic Text<\/b>, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. Translations based on these texts are also the Word of God<\/b>. These texts constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice and its supreme authority in<\/b> all matters of faith and conduct<\/b>.\u00a0 Error begins when we add to, remove from, or otherwise change God’s Word, like many new bible versions do. (Deut 4:2; Prov 30:6, Rev 22:18<\/a>).<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,\u00a0<\/span><\/i>that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped<\/b> for every good work<\/i>.” 2 Timothy 3:14-17<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

2.<\/b> We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

3.<\/b> We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate (Romans 8:34<\/a>; Hebrews 7:25<\/a>).<\/div>\n

4. <\/b>We believe salvation <\/b>is only available by accepting the free gift which God offers to everyone, not by works but solely through the sacrificial death (as our representative and substitute) of the Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God. (1John 2:2<\/a>; 1 Peter 2:24<\/a>; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22<\/a>).<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

God draws all sinners toward repentance (John 12:32<\/a>). The sinner is free to either resist or submit to the Gospel and drawing of God (Acts 7:51<\/a>, Rom. 2:4-5<\/a>, Deut. 30:19; Joshua 24:14-15 ; John 5:40<\/a>).\u00a0 (Acts 17:30; I Tim 2:4; John 3:14-19<\/a>) To receive salvation we repent (Acts 3:19; 1 John 1:9<\/a>) & by faith receive Jesus Christ as our Savior<\/b>. Acts 2:38<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 “..that which is born of the Spirit<\/b> is spirit<\/i>“<\/span><\/span> John 3:3-7.<\/a>\u00a0 When a sinner places his faith in Christ of his own free will, God cleanses him of sin, and makes him a child of God (John 1:11-12, John 5:24<\/a>).\u00a0 Every person who is born of the Spirit<\/b> is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers.<\/div>\n

Ephesians 1:13<\/a>‘ in whom ye also trusted, after<\/b> that ye heard<\/b> the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation<\/b>: in whom also after<\/span> that ye believed<\/b>, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit<\/b> of promise’<\/i>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We believe there is no regeneration for anyone until he has believed in Jesus Christ as his Savior. (John 1:12-13; Titus 3:5; John 20:31; Acts 16:31; John 5:40<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Bible clearly teaches that Christians whom stand in the true grace of God, will depart from iniquity (Romans 6:14<\/a>, Titus 2:11-12<\/a>), will walk in the Spirit and follow the teachings of the Word of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

5.<\/b> We believe in the Person and work of the Holy Spirit<\/b>, who convicts mankind of sin <\/b>(John 16:8<\/a>), and takes up residence in the born again believer to sanctify, teach, guide, equip them & intercede for them, to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Always in accordance with the written Word of God, that He inspired.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin<\/b> and the world <\/b>and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. This is a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

6.<\/b> We believe that baptism<\/b> by immersion follows Christ\u2019s example, symbolizing death, burial and resurrection to new life in Christ.\u00a0 It serves as a public testimony of faith and act of obedience after accepting Christ as personal Savior and Lord. Baptism is not necessary for salvation. The Lord\u2019s Supper<\/b> is an act of obedience and a testimony of faith. Self examination should precede participation in the Lord\u2019s supper. <\/i>Luke 22:19<\/a>; <\/i>Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 26:26-30; Acts 16:30-33; Romans 6:3-5; Colossians 2:12<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

7.<\/b> We believe that the spiritual unity of believers is in the Lord Jesus<\/b> (John 1:12<\/a><\/b>) a \u201ccommon salvation” & that unity is<\/span> by the Holy Spirit<\/b> of God. True unity is not man made.<\/p>\n

“.<\/i>.<\/i>endeavouring to keep<\/b> the unity of the Spirit<\/b> in the bond of peace.<\/i> There is one body and one Spirit<\/u><\/i><\/b>…one Lord, one faith, one baptism,\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/i>one God and Father of all<\/i><\/b><\/span> , who is above all, and through all, and in you all<\/span><\/i>.<\/span>” Ephesians 4:1-7<\/a> .\u00a0 (John 1:12<\/a>)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

8.<\/b> We believe in our Lord Jesus appearing to<\/span> caught up (<\/span>rapture)<\/span> the saints, both living and dead, and in His personal, future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We are born again Christians, followers of Jesus Christ and of His teachings as are found in the Scriptures (the Bible). We are neither Calvinists, nor Arminians, nor anything in between, nor Molinists,<\/strong> Universalist, etc.\u00a0 We avoid following men & are very careful with their teachings & their interpretations of the bible (Col. 2:8<\/a>, Mark 7:7-9<\/a>, etc). We are attempting to follow Christ daily, but recognize we are not perfect, and are so grateful for God’s mercies every day.\u00a0 Lamen. 3:23<\/a>.\u00a0 Jesus Christ alone is our <\/b><\/i>righteousness and all glory goes to Him.<\/p>\n

\nGod’s Truth is first<\/span><\/strong>. Besides our unity should be centered in Christ<\/strong>. We should not have unity at expenses of truth, it would be a fake unity any ways. If a teaching or doctrine results in the diminishing, adding, twisting or in a different Gospel of Salvation,<\/strong> we must not compromise. Also if a teaching causes a distorting of God\u2019s character or His Divinity<\/strong> then we must speak out. Likewise if there is any doctrine or teaching that seeks to put believers under the law or under a yoke of bondage, or persuading us to go after idols, other gods (idolatry) or to disobey God<\/strong>, we must speak out, respectfully, in love, but firmly, and we should avoid those teachers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
