People can find salvation &amp; the simplicity of Christ by reading the New Testament alone, but that won&#8217;t happen by reading the Old Testament by itself.<\/p>\n<p>Reformed\/Calvinist theologians &amp; Catholics teach the church replaces &#8216;<strong>Israel<\/strong>&#8216; (Replacement Theology), but that\u2019s NOT what the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20250714210229\/http:\/\/middletownbiblechurch.org\/reformed\/israelaf.htm\">New Testament<\/a> teaches, please check in that link the 73 times the word &#8216;Israel&#8217; is used int he NT.<\/p>\n<p>Also with some variations the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Armstrongism\">Church of God<\/a> &amp; many of their splinters like Israelite Church of God (a.k.a Black Hebrew<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Israelite_Church_of_God_in_Jesus_Christ\"> Israelites)<\/a> &amp; Hebrew Roots movement, teach another replacement theology as well, &amp; it&#8217;s that <strong>Christians are or become &#8216;Israelites&#8217;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These sects also teach <strong>Jesus<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> only <\/span><\/strong>came to <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>save<\/strong><\/span> the house of <strong>Israel<\/strong> by twisting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew%2015%3A21-28&amp;version=AKJV;RVA\">Matt.15:24<\/a>, &amp; say for that reason we believers have to be Israel, otherwise we are not saved. (check <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scripture4all.org\/OnlineInterlinear\/Greek_Index.htm\">here<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170610144040\/http:\/\/www.studylight.org:80\/interlinear-bible\/matthew\/15-24.html\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"yiv5667499488yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1474974827219_6060\">\n<div id=\"yiv5667499488yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1474974827219_6074\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<div id=\"yiv5667499488yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1474974827219_29582\">\n<p>The word &#8216;sent&#8217;, apostell\u014d in Greek, were the word apostle comes from, is Strong # <a href=\"https:\/\/studybible.info\/strongs\/G649\">G649 <\/a>&amp; it means to be commissioned to go to<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> <strong>a place<\/strong><\/span> appointed. You can find the same encounter (of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew%2015%3A21-28&amp;version=AKJV;RVA\">Matt.15:24<\/a>) in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=mark%207%3A24-30&amp;version=AKJV;NKJV;MEV;RVA\">Mark 7<\/a> where it clarifies &#8216;<em><span id=\"en-NKJV-24491\" class=\"text Mark-7-27\"><span class=\"woj\"><strong>Let the children be filled <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800000; text-decoration: underline;\">first<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, for it is not good to take the children\u2019s bread and throw it to the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">little<\/span> dogs<\/span><\/span><\/em>&#8216;. ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Romans+1%3A16&amp;version=AKJV;RVA\">Ro.1:16<\/a>). Jesus is <strong>not<\/strong> rejecting Gentiles, His answer is a fulfillment of prophecy, a setting of priorities, and a test of a woman\u2019s faith, a gentile who already believed Jesus was the Jewish Messiah &amp; her strong faith was an example to all Israel, but also notice the woman was requesting<strong> deliverance<\/strong> for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">her daughter<\/span>, not for her. Jesus agrees with what He already said in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+10%3A5-6&amp;version=AKJV;RVA\">Matt.10:5-6<\/a>, His primary mission was to <span style=\"color: #800000;\">preach<\/span> &amp;<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> ministry<\/span> to the Jews (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Romans%2015%3A8%20&amp;version=AKJV;RVA\">Rom. 15:8<\/a>). But salvation is available for the whole world, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/John-3-16\/\">John 3:16.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jesus was the promised <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Jewish Messiah who <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">came to His own<\/span><\/span> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John+1&amp;version=AKJV;RVA\">John 1:11<\/a>) through prophecy the Messiah was seen as the one who would gather these \u201c<strong>lost sheep<\/strong>\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ezekiel+34%3A23-24&amp;version=AKJV;NKJV;MEV;RVA\">Ez. 34:23-24<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Micah+5%3A4-5&amp;version=AKJV;NKJV;MEV;RVA\">Micah 5:4-5<\/a>). But when <strong>His own rejected Him<\/strong>, He turned to the gentiles, and the mission of His disciples will be to go into the whole world. In John 10:16, Jesus refers to the \u201cother sheep,\u201d and those can only be sheep that are <span style=\"color: #800000;\">outside of Israel<\/span>, or <strong>Gentiles<\/strong>. Jesus makes it clear that there would be only one flock and one Shepherd. This is the mystery of the<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> body of Christ, the church<\/span>, which Paul refers to in Ephesians 3:6:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>This mystery <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">is<\/span> <\/strong>that <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">through the gospel<\/span> the Gentiles<\/strong> are <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>heirs<\/strong> together<\/span> <strong>with Israel<\/strong>, members together of <span style=\"color: #800000;\">one body,<\/span> and sharers together in <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">the promise<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong> in<\/strong><\/span> <strong>Christ Jesus<\/strong><\/em><strong>.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A mystery in Scripture is something not revealed previously, and this mystery is one universal church with both Jews and Gentiles brought together in one body in the Messiah.<\/p>\n<p>HR also misuse Gal.3:<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>29<\/strong><\/span> &amp; Ephesians 2:12 to support their interpretation.\u00a0 &#8211; I noticed they are twisting or taking vs. 29 out of context, &amp; the word <strong>Israelites<\/strong> doesn&#8217;t even appear any were in that Bible verse.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>* 29<\/strong> And<strong> if you are <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Christ\u2019s<\/span>, then you are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Abraham\u2019s seed<\/span><\/strong>, and heirs according to the promise.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>This is the context they dismissed vs 26-28:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Gal.3%3A26-29&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;OJB\">Gal.3:26-29<\/a> &#8216;For you <strong>are all sons<\/strong> of God through<strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\"> faith<\/span> in Christ Jesus<\/strong>. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ <span style=\"color: #800000;\">have put on Christ<\/span>. There is <strong>neither <\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #800000;\">Jew <\/span><strong>nor Greek<\/strong>, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; <strong>for you are <span style=\"color: #800000;\">all one<\/span> <span style=\"color: #800000;\">in Christ<\/span> Jesus.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We are Christ&#8217;s by <span style=\"color: #993300;\">FAITH <\/span>not race, &amp; <strong>Abraham <span style=\"color: #993300;\">was NOT even an Israelite<\/span>,<\/strong> nor a Jew but<strong> an Arab<\/strong> (Ur of the Chaldeans), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Genesis+11%3A31&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;RVR1960\">Genesis 11:31<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts+7%3A3&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;RVR1960\">Acts 7:3<\/a>. Abraham (Called the father of <span style=\"color: #993300;\">Faith<\/span> &#8211; of all who had faith in Messiah) was called by God at 75 years of age &amp; was given the &#8216;Promise&#8217; of a Seed = Messiah, the lineage of Messiah (God in the flesh).<\/p>\n<p>They say Abraham was a Hebrew, it&#8217;s true, but Hebrew was not a race, it means &#8216;separated or set apart&#8217;. We <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Christ<\/strong><\/span>ians are also set apart for CHRIST.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>But <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Israel,<\/span><\/strong> pursuing the law of righteousness, <strong>did <span style=\"color: #993300;\">not<\/span> attain<\/strong> the law of righteousness. Why not? <strong>Because <\/strong>they <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #800000;\">did not<\/span> seek it <span style=\"color: #993300;\">by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800000; text-decoration: underline;\">faith<\/span><\/span><\/span>, but by<\/strong> the works of the<strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> law<\/span>.<\/strong> For <strong>they stumbled<\/strong> over the stumbling stone. As it is written:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook! I lay in Zion a <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>stumbling stone<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nand <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">rock of offense<\/span><\/strong>,<br \/>\nand <span style=\"color: #993300;\">whoever <strong>believes<\/strong> in <strong>Him<\/strong><\/span> will not be ashamed.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Romans%209%3A30-33&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;OJB\">Rom. 9:31-33<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-AKJV-17821\" class=\"text Isa-8-13\"><sup class=\"versenum\">13\u00a0<\/sup>Sanctify <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the <span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span><\/span> (YHWH) of hosts himself<\/strong>; and <i>let<\/i> him <i>be<\/i> your fear, and <i>let<\/i> him <i>be<\/i> your dread. <\/span> <span id=\"en-AKJV-17822\" class=\"text Isa-8-14\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14\u00a0<\/sup>And <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">He <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">shall be for a sanctuary<\/span>; <strong>but<\/strong> for a<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> stone of stumbling and for a rock <\/strong><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">of offense <\/span><\/strong><strong>to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800000; text-decoration: underline;\">b<\/span><span style=\"color: #800000; text-decoration: underline;\">oth<\/span> the houses of Israel<\/span><\/strong>, for a gin and <strong>for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isa.8%3A13-14&amp;version=MEV;AKJV;YLT;RVA\"><strong>Is<\/strong>. 8:13-14<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0&amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Isaiah+28%3A16&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;OJB;YLT\"><strong>Is<\/strong>. 28:16<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We can see here in vs.14 that <span style=\"color: #800000;\">BOTH<\/span> houses of <strong>Israel<\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\"> are lost without JESUS<\/span>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kingjamesbibleonline.org\/James-1-1\/\"> James 1:1<\/a> wrote in the New Testament to the <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>12 tribes scattered<\/strong><\/span>, &amp; not to the 10 tribes or Ephraim, so at that time there was no more two houses but one. The apostle Paul (from the tribe of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Philippians+3%3A5&amp;version=AKJV;NKJV;MEV;RVA\"><strong>Benjamin<\/strong><\/a>) calls himself both<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong> Jew &amp; an Israelite<\/strong><\/span> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Rpmans%2011%3A1%3B%20Philipphians%203%3A5&amp;version=AKJV;NKJV;MEV;RVA\">Romans 11:1<\/a>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts+21%3A39&amp;version=AKJV;NKJV;MEV;RVA\">Acts 21:39<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Hebrew Roots teach the <strong>\u2018Two House<\/strong>\u2018 doctrine that say the <strong>House of Judah\u00a0 are only the Jews<\/strong> and the House of <strong>Israel (Ephraimites or ten lost tribes)\u00a0<\/strong> are them, &amp; both will unite in the future. This HR Movement even twist the <strong>parable of the \u2018Prodigal Son\u2019<\/strong> as a prophecy to explain this\u00a0 doctrine. But unfortunately their doctrine has its <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>roots<\/strong><\/span> in the Talmud &amp; the Kabbalah. We can say in other words that the ROOTS of the Hebrew <strong>Roots<\/strong> is Kabbalah &amp;<strong> not<\/strong> Christ:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u2018The interest of the fate of the <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Ten Lost Tribe<\/span> received a new impetus from a number of developments, among them the<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> growth of the <span style=\"color: #800000;\">kabbalah<\/span> and the Jewish mysticism<\/span> after the 16th century, including various messianic <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">movements<\/span> of them that of <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Shabbetai Zvi\u00a0<\/span> (1626-1676) having the<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> strongest<\/span> impact.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 . . .<\/p>\n<p>Moses ben Issac Edrehi (1774-1842) a Moroccan-born<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> rabbi and <span style=\"color: #800000;\">kabbalist<\/span><\/span> who lived for many years in Amsterdam and London and eventually immigrated to the land of Israel is the author of two works dealing with the <span style=\"color: #800000;\">quest for the Ten Lost Tribes<\/span>\u2019.\u00a0 \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20160413025100\/http:\/\/www.bh.org.il\/5616-2\/\">The Myth of the Ten Lost Tribes<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Note: <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sabbatai_Zevi\">Sabbatai Tzvi<\/a> was also a <span style=\"color: #800000;\">kabbalist<\/span> rabbi who claimed to be the messiah.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The word Jew (Yehudi in Hebrew) is a derivative of the name Judah (Yehudah), Jacob&#8217;s fourth son. The first time this word appears is in (Esther 2:5). Mordecai was also of the tribe of Benjamin. The tribes of <strong>Judah and Benjamin<\/strong> comprised the &#8220;Kingdom of Judea.&#8221; The other 10 tribes comprised the &#8216;Kingdom of Israel&#8217; these latest tribes were exiled by the Assyrians 740 B.C, some mixed (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gotquestions.org\/Samaritans.html\">Samaritans<\/a>), some\u00a0 came back to their land but most were scattered.\u00a0\u00a0 The &#8216;Kingdom of Judah&#8217; remained but later came the Babylonian captivity &amp; exile in 605 BC, and the same thing happened to them, but <strong>tribal territories<\/strong> were no longer in existence when the people finally returned to their land.<\/p>\n<p>Then during the Roman Period, <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>the entire land<\/strong><\/span> became a <strong>Roman province called <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Judea_(Roman_province)\">Judea<\/a><\/strong> &amp; it was comprised of people <span style=\"color: #800000;\">from <strong>all<\/strong> 12 tribes<\/span>. Matthew is believed to be from the tribe of Levi.\u00a0 (Jesus at the crucifixion was called &#8216;King of the Jews&#8217;, not of &#8216;Kingdom of Judah&#8217; only).\u00a0 Later Judea was also scattered by the Romans in 70 A.D. So <strong>ALL 12 tribes were scattered<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According with the Word of God, Abraham begot Ishmael (Arab) &amp; Issac, and then Issac begot Esau &amp; Jacob (<span style=\"color: #800000;\">God changed Jacob&#8217;s name to <strong>Israel<\/strong><\/span>) &amp; from the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">descendants<\/span> of <strong>Jacob<\/strong>\/Israel&#8217;s <strong>12 sons<\/strong>, came the House of Israel or the <strong>Israelites<\/strong>, but this happened only when God made a covenant with them after taking them out of Egypt. This was 430 years after His covenant with Abraham. Abraham, Isaac &amp; Jacob were chosen to bring the<strong> lineage of the Messiah, the Seed.<\/strong> They were <span style=\"color: #800000;\">saved by faith<\/span> in coming Messiah, <span style=\"color: #000080;\">not by the law<\/span> that didn&#8217;t even existed in their time.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s were everything started, with God&#8217;s promises made to Abraham &amp; his <strong>&#8216;Seed<\/strong>&#8216; who is Jesus the Messiah, &amp; <strong>not to his descendants in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the flesh<\/span><\/strong>, (that by the way it would <strong>include Arabs!<\/strong>) but to his descendants that<span style=\"color: #993300;\"> had faith<\/span> in the <strong>Promise<\/strong> Seed (Messiah) many<strong> &#8216;spiritual&#8217; descendants<\/strong> made from both covenants . &#8220;<em>And the scripture, foreseeing <strong>that God would justify the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">heathen<\/span> through<span style=\"color: #993300;\"> faith<\/span><\/strong>, preached <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">before the gospel<\/span> unto Abraham, saying, In thee <span style=\"color: #993300;\">shall <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>all<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">nations<\/span><\/span> be blessed. 9 So then they which be <strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">of faith<\/span><\/strong> are blessed with faithful Abraham<\/em>&#8221; Gal.3:8-9<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Rom.4%3A13&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;RVR1960\">Rom.4:13<\/a> &#8211;<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> For the promise<\/span>, that he should be the<strong> heir of the world,<\/strong> was not to Abraham, or<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> to his seed<\/span>, <strong>through the <span style=\"color: #000080;\">law<\/span>, but through the righteousness<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> of faith<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Rom.9%3A6-8+&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;RVR1960\">Rom.9:6-8<\/a> &#8220;But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, <strong>nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham<\/strong>; but, \u201cIn <span style=\"color: #993300;\">Isaac<\/span> <strong>your seed<\/strong> shall be called. That is, <strong>those <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #800000;\">who are the children of the flesh, <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">these <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">are <\/span><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not the children of God<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\">;<\/span> but <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the children of the <span style=\"color: #800000;\">promise<\/span> are counted <\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\">as the seed<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Promise to Abraham through Messiah is a <strong>perpetual covenant<\/strong>, it came hundreds of years before the law (or the covenant in Mount Sinai), <span style=\"color: #800000;\">from that &#8216;Promise&#8217;<\/span> came about <strong>2 covenants<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1\/ The Old Covenant with the Israelites<\/strong>, even a good covenant, it was imperfect, was done with blood of animals, they were told it was temporary (Jer. 31:31), had the LAW as their tutor, but it was to exist <span style=\"color: #800000;\">until Messiah<\/span> (the Promise) came and established the <span style=\"color: #800000;\">New<\/span> Covenant with His own blood .<\/p>\n<p><strong>2\/ The New Covenant<\/strong>, is perfect because is made with the blood of Jesus (a pure &amp; perfect sacrifice done once &amp; for all), <span style=\"color: #800000;\">perpetual<\/span> because Jesus the only <strong>High Priest lives for ever more<\/strong> (human priests died &amp; needed to be replaced). Now, <span style=\"color: #800000;\">the Holy Spirit<\/span> (God Himself) is our teacher\/tutor, not the law. This new covenant was presented first to the Israelites (that already had covenant with God), later to the Gentiles who were strangers to their covenant.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? For it is written that Abraham had <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">two<\/span> sons<\/span>: the <strong>one <\/strong>by a <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">bondwoman<\/span>, the other<\/strong> by a<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> freewoman<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span> But he who was of the bondwoman was <span style=\"color: #000000;\">born according to the <strong>flesh<\/strong><\/span>, and<span style=\"color: #000080;\"> he of the freewoman through<strong> promise<\/strong><\/span>, which things are symbolic. <strong>For <span style=\"color: #800000;\">these are the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">two<\/span> covenants<\/span>: <\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">the one from Mount Sinai which gives <strong>birth to bondage<\/strong>,<\/span> which is Hagar\u2014 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and <span style=\"color: #000000;\">corresponds to <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jerusalem<\/span> which now is, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">is in bondage<\/span> with her children<\/strong><\/span>\u2014<span style=\"color: #000080;\"> but the Jerusalem<strong> above is free<\/strong><\/span>, which is the mother of us all. For it is written:. . . Now <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">we<\/span><\/strong>, brethren, as Isaac was,<span style=\"color: #000080;\"> are children of promise<\/span>. <span style=\"color: #800000;\">But, as he who was born according to the flesh then <strong>persecuted<\/strong> him who was <strong>born according to the Spirit<\/strong>, even <strong>so<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> it is now<\/span><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Cast out<\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">the bondwoman and her son<\/span><\/strong>, for the son of the bondwoman <span style=\"color: #800000;\">shall not be heir<\/span> with the son <span style=\"color: #000080;\">of the freewoman<\/span> .\u201do then,<strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\"> brethren,<\/span><\/strong> we are not <span style=\"color: #000000;\">children<\/span> of the bondwoman <strong>but of the<\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong> free. <\/strong><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Gal.4%3A%2021-31%20&amp;version=AKJV;MEV;RVR1960;NKJV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gal.4: 21-31<\/a><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>-The other verse they used to support &#8220;Christians are Israelites&#8221; is Ephesians 2:<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>12<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians+2%3A+12-15&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;RVR1960\">Eph.. 2: 12-15<\/a> &#8216;that <span style=\"color: #000000;\">at that time you were without <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Christ<\/strong><\/span>,<\/span> being <strong>aliens<\/strong> (G526=alienated, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>distant<\/strong><\/span>) from the <strong>commonwealth<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingjamesbibledictionary.com\/StrongsNo\/G4174\/followers\">G4174<\/a>= polity, freedom, community, See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts%2022%3A28&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;RVR1960;OJB\">Acts 22:28<\/a>) <strong>of Israel<\/strong> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #800000;\"><strong>strangers<\/strong><\/span> from the <strong>covenant<span style=\"color: #993300;\">s<\/span><\/strong><strong> of <span style=\"color: #000000;\">promise<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>,<\/strong><\/span> having <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no hope and <span style=\"color: #800000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>without God<\/strong><\/span><\/span> in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Reading in context :<\/p>\n<p>13 But <span style=\"color: #800000;\">now <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>in <\/strong><\/span><strong>Christ Jesus<\/strong><\/span> you who <strong>once were <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">far away<\/span><\/strong> have been brought <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>near<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">by the blood of<strong> Christ<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span>&#8221; . . <strong>. who hath made <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">both <span style=\"color: #800000; text-decoration: underline;\">one<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">,<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #000000;\">hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; <strong>having abolished in his flesh <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the enmity<\/span>,<\/strong> even the<strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\"> law<\/span><\/strong> of <strong>commandments<\/strong> contained in ordinances.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Commonwealth = <strong>Benefits<\/strong> or advantages of citizens, citizenship, common goods . In Ephesians in context is talking about a <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Divine<\/span> commonwealth<\/strong> that <strong>only<\/strong> Israel enjoyed at the time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brought near or reconciled <span style=\"color: #993300;\">to God<\/span> (not to Israel or through them)<\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">through faith in Messiah<\/span><\/strong>=the Promise\/covenant, made first to Abraham, then to Israel, later to Gentiles when Israelites rejected Him, but God knew this from the beginning. Gal.3:10.<\/p>\n<p>This verse is saying<strong> nothing at all<\/strong> that we become <strong>Israelites!!<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>O<\/strong><strong>ur citizenship<\/strong><\/span> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibletools.org\/index.cfm\/fuseaction\/Lexicon.show\/ID\/G4175\/mimetes.htm\">G4175<\/a>)<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\"> is in heaven!<\/span><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Phil.3.20&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;RVR1960;OJB\">Phil.3.20<\/a>, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not earthly<\/span> nor from Israel<\/strong>. Our inheritance got nothing to do with <span style=\"color: #800000;\">the flesh<\/span>.<strong> It just means because we were not with Israel we <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">didn&#8217;t know<\/span> the blessings or benefits of the covenants <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">of the promise<\/span> made to Abraham.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c<span id=\"en-AKJV-30186\" class=\"text Heb-11-13\"><strong>These <span style=\"color: #800000;\">all<\/span><\/strong> died <span style=\"color: #800000;\">in <strong>faith<\/strong><\/span>, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and<strong> confessed that <span style=\"color: #000000;\">they<\/span> were<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> strangers<\/span> and pilgrims <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">on the earth<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">.<\/span><\/span>\u201d vs.13. \u201c<span id=\"en-AKJV-30212\" class=\"text Heb-11-39\">And <strong>these all<\/strong>, having obtained a good report <span style=\"color: #800000;\">through <strong>faith<\/strong><\/span>, <strong>received not the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">promise<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Hebrews%209&amp;version=AKJV;NKJV;MEV;OJB;RVR1960\">Hebrew 9:12-39<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The &#8216;Replacement Theology&#8217; doctrine that is taught by Catholics, Calvinist, Lutherans, etc. teaches God rejected Israel -when it was Israel who rejected God-, has no more plans for Israel &amp; that the church has <strong>completely \u2018replaced\u2019 Israel,<\/strong> but this is a doctrine that\u2019s proved wrong by many bible passages one of them found in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Romans+11&amp;version=NKJV;AKJV;MEV;RVR1960;OJB\">Romans 11<\/a> which tells us that God is not yet done with Israel, even they rejected Him.\u00a0 On the opposite side of the coin we have another kind of \u2018<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Replacement Theology<\/span>\u2019 (taught by Church of God,\u00a0Mormons, Hebrew Roots, Ephraimite Awakening, etc) which teach that <strong>in order to be saved the \u2018Church\u2019 needs to become part of Israel &amp; as Israelites obey the Law of the Old Covenant<\/strong>. One other verse they use out of context is Romans 11:17, which they interpret that gentile believers are <strong>grafted <\/strong>into \u2018Israel\u2019, and for that reason <strong>have to become Israelites<\/strong>. We were not grafted in Israel but in the &#8216;Promise&#8217; (Jesus the Messiah) made to Abraham, we are<strong> children of the Promise<\/strong>. Please see <a href=\"http:\/\/cristolaverdad.com\/?p=4650\">Grafted In.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The view that <span style=\"color: #800000;\">Israel<\/span><strong> and the church are different<\/strong> is clearly taught in the New Testament. The church is an entirely <span style=\"color: #800000;\">new creation<\/span> that came into existence on the day of Pentecost and will continue until it is taken to heaven at the rapture or <strong>until the fullness of the gentiles comes<\/strong>, then &amp; only then, God will deal with Israel as a nation once more, to give them a second chance.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1 I say then, has<strong> God rejected His people? God forbid!<\/strong> . . . 11 I say then, <strong>have they stumbled <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">that they should fall?<\/span><\/strong> God forbid!
