The primary requirement of a teacher of the Word, is to be steadfast in the doctrine<\/b> taught initially by Jesus & the apostles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Acts 2:42\u00a0<\/a> “And they continued stedfastly in the apostles\u2019 doctrine<\/b> and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers<\/i>. “, <\/span><\/p>\n

“But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine<\/strong><\/em><\/span>” Titus 2:1<\/a>

Jesus is the only way to the Father<\/span>.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way<\/strong>, the truth<\/strong><\/span>, and the life<\/strong>: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me<\/span>” (<\/span>John 14<\/span>: 6).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The truth<\/span>, the path, or light, is not a philosophy,\u00a0 an organization, a brotherhood, a religion, nor a denomination but a person, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of God, the only Christ, (any other Christ is false) , He is not the one carrying the light, or the one who shows the door or shows the way, but He is<\/strong> the light of the world (John 8:12<\/a>), He is<\/strong> the door we enter to be saved (John 10: 7-10<\/a>), He is<\/strong> the truth<\/strong>, the only way<\/strong> to the Father & the only one who can give us life <\/strong>(John 14: 6). If Jesus is the truth, to know HIM is to know “the truth” and this is the purpose of biblical doctrine, to come to faith & knowledge of the Son of God (Ephesians 4: 13-15<\/a>). We understand that if we know the Son we also know the Father (John 14: 7<\/a>). <\/span><\/p>\n

The Holy Spirit<\/strong> will point us to Jesus<\/span> <\/strong>“even the Spirit of truth<\/strong>, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me<\/strong><\/span><\/em>” John 15:26<\/a>. A church that have the true Christian faith will always point you to Jesus & His Word for salvation, (nor their denomination, their founder’s interpretations, nor their books), <\/span><\/span>their teachings must agree with God’s Word. If you find contradictions with what they teach & the fundamental doctrines of the Bible, then something is wrong.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201d Whosoever transgresseth (G3845 = depart<\/strong>, leave), <\/em>and abideth(G3306<\/a> = remain<\/strong>, stay, continue) not<\/strong> in the doctrine of Christ<\/strong>, hath not God<\/strong>. <\/strong><\/em>He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son<\/span>. If<\/strong> there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine<\/strong>, receive him not<\/strong> into your<\/i> house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker<\/strong> of his evil deeds.\u201d\u00a0 2 John 1:9-11 .<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Our salvation depends on having<\/span> faith in the true Jesus of the Scriptures<\/span> & in remaining in Him, His doctrine (teachings),<\/span><\/strong> (John 15: 4-7a<\/a>) He is life<\/strong>, we depend on Him to live! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If we believe the Word of God is true, then false doctrines are those teachings which contradict the Bible<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span>There is a lot of sincere and God loving people being confuse & deceive by false doctrines, if we get the opportunity to talk to them let us make sure we do it out of love and not because we are trying to win an argument. We work to glorify God, not ourselves.\u00a0 As the Lord leads please pray for them.<\/p>\n

A pseudo-Christian<\/strong> religion is a group of people who follow a leader<\/span> (group of leaders, organization) who, while claiming to be Christians and teach true Christian doctrine<\/span>, actually distorts and denies fundamental and distinctive doctrines of the Christian faith<\/strong>..”\u00a0 – Kevin James Bywater, ex-Mormon<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

One doctrinal error usually causes the result of other errors, like a snowball effect.\u00a0 I have seen this uncountable times in groups like Jehovah’s Witness, Mormons & other cults, that driven by a doctrinal error then try to prove it with the Scriptures, but as a consequence they will always find other bible verses that contradict their error, so they have to twist Scriptures or take verses out of context to prove their point, but eventually they always get into a dead end with one or more bible verses they cannot explain. When this happen they will always brushed off\u00a0 by saying: You don’t know well our doctrine, we are the only ones with the truth,\u00a0 it’s a mystery, God cannot be questioned, etc.<\/p>\n
