\nTherefore<\/strong>, your gates shall be open continually;<\/span>
\nthey shall not be shut day nor night,<\/span>
\nso that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations,<\/strong>
\nand that their kings may be brought.
\n12
\nFor the nation and kingdom that will not serve you<\/span> shall perish,<\/span>
\nand those nations shall be utterly destroyed.<\/p>\n

\nThe glory of Lebanon shall come to you<\/strong>,
\nthe fir tree, the pine tree, and the box tree together,
\nto beautify the place of My sanctuary;
\nand I will make the place of My feet<\/strong> glorious.<\/span>
\n14
\nThe sons<\/strong> also of those who afflicted you shall come bowing<\/strong> before you,<\/span>
\nand all those who despised you<\/strong> shall bow<\/strong> themselves down <\/strong>at the soles of your feet;<\/span>
\nand they shall call you<\/strong>, The City<\/span> of the Lord,<\/span>
\nthe Zion<\/strong><\/span><\/span> of the Holy One<\/strong> of Israel.<\/p>\n

\nWhereas you have been forsaken
\nand hated so that no man went through you,
\nI will make you an eternal excellency,
\na joy of many generations.
\n16
\nYou shall also suck the milk of the nations
\nand suck the breast of kings;
\nthen you shall know that I, the Lord, am your Savior<\/strong><\/span>
\nand your Redeemer<\/span>,<\/strong> the Mighty One of Jacob.
\n17
\nInstead of bronze I will bring gold,<\/strong>
\nand instead of iron I will bring silver<\/strong>;
\nand instead of wood, bronze<\/strong>;
\nand instead of stones, iron<\/strong>.
\nI will also make your officers peace<\/strong><\/span>
\nand your exactors righteousness.<\/span>
\n18
\nViolence shall no more<\/strong> be heard in your land,
\nnor devastation or destruction<\/strong> within your borders;
\nbut you shall call your walls<\/strong> Salvation<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\nand your gates Praise<\/span>.
\n19
\nThe <\/strong>sun shall no longer be your light by day<\/span>,<\/strong>
\nnor for brightness <\/strong>shall the moon give light to you;<\/span>
\nbut the Lord shall be an everlasting light to you<\/strong>
\nand your God for your glory.
\n20
\nYour sun shall no more go down,
\nnor shall your moon wane;
\nfor the Lord<\/strong> shall be your everlasting light<\/strong>,<\/span>
\nand the days of your mourning shall end<\/strong>.
\n21
\nThen all your people shall be righteous<\/strong>;
\nthey shall inherit the land forever,
\nthe branch of My planting,
\nthe work of My hands,<\/span>
\nthat I may be glorified.<\/span>
\n22
\nA little one<\/strong> shall become a thousand,
\nand a small one<\/strong> a strong nation.
\nI, the Lord,
\nwill hasten it in its time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Verse 12<\/span>.<\/strong> The people & the nations that don’t serve God & don’t believe in Jesus will perish & at the final judgment they will be destroyed. But where in the entire Bible have we ever seen that God exalts sin or rewards with abundance & His presence, a people that disobeys Him? or that blasphemes & rejects His son?<\/p>\n

Please read verse 14<\/span><\/strong>. Now ask yourself -Does the Bible teach us to worship or bow down at the feet of humans? No, not even at the feet of angels, then to whom can we bow down to? According with the Bible only to God! Luke 4:8<\/a> & Rev.19:10<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I fell at his feet<\/strong> to worship him<\/span>. But he said to me, \u201cSee that you not<\/strong> do that<\/span>. I am your fellow servant<\/strong>, and of your brothers who hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! <\/strong><\/span>For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Rev.19:10<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Then who are they worshiping in verse 14<\/span><\/strong>? According with the Scriptures has to be Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also notice it doesn’t say ‘Israel’ (or it’s earthly government), it says ‘they shall call you<\/span>\u00a0 Zion’<\/strong> (Jerusalem) which already existed in the time of Isaiah. But then why it says “and they shall call you<\/strong>,”\u00a0 like it is something new?<\/p>\n

What many don’t seem to realize is that there are two<\/span> Zions<\/strong>, or two<\/span> Jerusalem<\/strong>, the natural\/physical one, born of the flesh & the spiritual<\/a> one, or spiritually born, made of the redeemed, the ones from all nations washed in the blood of the Lamb, who were called out of darkness<\/strong> into His marvelous<\/strong> light<\/span>; 1 Peter 2:9<\/a>.\u00a0 Which also same prophet Isaiah happens to mentions on Chapter 66, as a holy<\/span> nation, that was born in one day.<\/a><\/p>\n

This is the main reason why I don’t think Isaiah is talking about the secular Israel we see today. What it says in verses 11 & 18-22 we can also find in the book of Revelation, but here is talking about the<\/strong> New<\/span> Jerusalem<\/strong> (New Zion):<\/p>\n

For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,<\/strong> and there was no more sea.
\n2 I, John, saw the Holy<\/strong> City, the New<\/span> Jerusalem<\/strong><\/span>, coming down<\/strong> out of heaven from God,<\/span><\/p>\n

prepared as a bride<\/strong> adorned for her husband. . .<\/p>\n

They shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them<\/span> and be their God<\/strong>.
\n4 \u2018God shall wipe away all tears<\/strong> from their eyes. There shall be no more death<\/strong><\/span>.\u2019
\nNeither shall there be any more sorrow<\/strong> nor crying nor pain<\/strong>, for the former things <\/strong>have passed away . . .<\/strong><\/p>\n

23\u00a0The city has no need of sun or moon<\/span> to shine in it<\/strong>,
\nfor the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb.<\/span>
\n24\u00a0And the nations<\/strong> of those who are saved<\/strong> shall walk in its light,
\nand the kings of the earth shall bring their glory and honor into it.<\/strong>
\n25\u00a0Its gates shall never be shut by day, for there shall be no night there<\/span>.
\n26\u00a0They shall bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.<\/p>\n

Rev. 21: 1-26<\/a><\/p>\n

So to me this chapter Isaiah 60 is talking about the spiritual Zion or New Jerusalem<\/span> with her King<\/strong>, & the peoples of all nations<\/strong> will come to worship the Lord & bring Him presents. If you still prefer to believe Isaiah 60 is talking about the earthly, carnal state of Israel, then you will have to situated it at the very end, when the church is gone and the ‘remnant’ of Israel accepts the true Messiah Jesus Christ, when they call His name, because that hasn’t happen yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cO Jerusalem<\/span>, Jerusalem, <\/strong>the one<\/span> who kills the prophets<\/strong> and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing<\/span>! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate<\/strong>;(See c & d<\/a>) 39 for I say to you, you<\/span> shall see<\/strong> Me<\/strong> no more<\/strong> <\/span>till<\/strong> you say, \u2018Blessed<\/strong> is He<\/strong><\/span> who comes in the name of the Lord!\u2019 \u201d Matt.23:37-39<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is important that Christians study the whole counsel of the Word of God, in order to discern wrong doctrines. When we know what our God likes & dislikes<\/strong>, then we’ll be able to please Him. Things that all should already know:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers<\/strong>: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.<\/span>\u201d Deut. 24:16<\/p>\n

Even if the land belongs to them (But majority reject Jesus, the Seed of Abraham Gal.3:16 <\/a>–29<\/a>. Also God gave a condition for that land, you can read in Lev.18:26-30<\/a>.)\u00a0 \u00a0– \u201cWhen a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them<\/strong>. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself,<\/span> for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 Lev. 19:34<\/p>\n

“But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord,<\/strong>
\nAnd of justice and might,\u00a0To declare to Jacob his transgression<\/strong>
\nAnd to Israel his sin<\/strong>.
\n9\u00a0Now hear this,\u00a0You heads<\/strong> of the house of Jacob
\nAnd rulers<\/strong> of the house of Israel,\u00a0Who abhor justice<\/span>
\nAnd pervert all equity,<\/span>
\n10\u00a0Who build up Zion with bloodshed<\/span>\u00a0And Jerusalem with iniquity<\/strong>:
\n. .\u00a0Therefore<\/strong> because of you<\/strong>\u00a0Zion<\/span> shall be plowed like a field,\u00a0Jerusalem<\/span> shall become heaps of ruins,” Micah 3:8-12<\/a><\/p>\n
