We can find the time of Jesus coming for His Church<\/strong> or rapture, in Matthew 24<\/a>, Mark 13:26-27<\/a> & Luke 21:27-28<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3 As He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, \u201cTell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your coming<\/span> and of the end of the age?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

4 Jesus answered them, \u201cTake heed that no one deceives you<\/strong>. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, \u2018I am the Christ,\u2019 and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must happen, but the end is not yet<\/span>.<\/p>\n

7\u00a0 For <\/a>(Therefore, because, indeed) nation shall rise against nation<\/span>, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines<\/span>, and pestilences<\/span>, and earthquakes<\/span>, in divers places. 8 All these are<\/span> the beginning of<\/strong> sorrows<\/strong><\/span> (=G5604<\/a> =birth pangs<\/span>).<\/p>\n

9 \u201cThen they will hand you over to be persecuted <\/span><\/strong>and will<\/span> kill you<\/span><\/strong>. And you will be hated by all nations<\/strong> for My name\u2019s sake. 10 Then many will fall away<\/strong><\/span><\/span>, and betray one another, and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many. 12 Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold<\/span>. 13 But he who endures<\/strong> to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.<\/p>\n

15 \u201cSo when you see the \u2018abomination of desolation<\/strong>,\u2019<\/strong> spoken of by Daniel the prophet<\/span>, standing in the holy place<\/strong> (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. . .\u00a0 21 For then will be great tribulation<\/span>, such as has not happened since the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

22 \u201cUnless those days were shortened, no one (flesh) would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.<\/strong> 23 Then if anyone says to you, \u2018Look, here is the Christ,\u2019 or \u2018There He is,\u2019 do not believe it. 24 For false ‘christs’<\/strong> and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive<\/span>, if possible, even the elect. 25 Listen, I have told you beforehand.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 . . .<\/p>\n

29 \u201cImmediately<\/span> after the tribulation of those days<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

\u2018the sun<\/span> will be darkened,
\nthe moon<\/span> will not give its light;
\nthe stars<\/span> will fall from heaven,
\nand the powers of the heavens will be shaken<\/span>.\u2019<\/p>\n

**<\/span><\/strong> 30 \u201cThen<\/span> the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven<\/span>, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds<\/strong> of heaven<\/span> with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels<\/span> with a great sound of a trumpet,<\/span> and they shall gather His elect <\/strong><\/span><\/span>from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. \u00a0Matt.24:3-31<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Vs. 24 – ‘False christs’ – the Greek word for Christ G5547<\/a>= \u201cChristos\u201d means = \u201cAnointed<\/span>\u201d, so this says ‘false anointed ones’<\/p>\n

Remember the birth pangs<\/span> intensify & become closer to each other<\/strong> when the birth is near. I believe the difference with other past wars, pestilences, famine, persecutions, etc. will be that this time we’ll see them at a global<\/span> scale.<\/p>\n

Daniel mentions abomination of desolation, see Dan. 9:27, 11:29-31 & 12:11<\/a> Reading these give us more insight. The temple doesn’t exist today, but we believe the Word of God & we know it will be built<\/strong> very soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

This abomination starts at the middle<\/span> of the 7 year<\/strong> covenant. <\/span>The abomination is something or someone that is set up<\/strong> in the sanctuary of the temple<\/span>. \u201cHis armies<\/strong> shall rise up and desecrate<\/span> the sanctuary<\/strong> fortress. They shall abolish the daily sacrifice<\/span> and set up the abomination<\/span> that makes desolate<\/em>” Dan.11:31. <\/span><\/p>\n

Because what\u00a0 2 Thess. 2:4<\/a> says “who opposes and exalts himself<\/strong> above all that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sits as God<\/span> in the temple<\/strong> of God, showing himself as God.<\/em><\/span>” Then we believe it is the antichrist himself who sits as God in the temple, or sets up an altar for his image (AI?) causing the abomination<\/strong> (G946<\/a>=something detestable, pertaining to idolatry) which will cause the desolation. Desolation means destruction <\/strong>(G2050<\/a>) \u201c<\/span><\/span><\/strong>But when you see<\/em><\/span><\/span> Jerusalem surrounded by armies<\/span>,<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/strong> then know that<\/em><\/span><\/span> its desolation<\/span> is near<\/em>.<\/span> ” <\/span><\/strong>Lk.21:20<\/span><\/a>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The abomination of desolation<\/strong> happens in Judea, where the 3er temple should be constructed & also were Jerusalem is located. And like the time of Antiochus (2nd century B.C), it probably involves a sacrifice that desecrates the temple.<\/p>\n

I was taught<\/strong>, & I believed for many years (let us have into consideration that the Church has been infiltrated by false teachers that cause much confusion), that this paragraph was talking about the Jews only, but many things didn’t add up to me, e.g. 2 Thes. 2:1-3<\/a>. The rapture won’t come until: “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come<\/i> unless the falling away comes first<\/span>, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition<\/span><\/span>.”<\/p>\n

According to Revelation 6:16-17<\/a> the ‘wrath of God’<\/strong> (judgment to the earth) starts after the 6th seal. During the 5th seal (Rev. 6:10<\/a>), the wrath hasn’t happen yet. For this reason the 7 seals should not<\/strong> be considered part of the Wrath of God, & for that same reason we Christians could still be here at the time the seals are opened.<\/p>\n

We find in Revelation 7:14<\/a>, Matthew 24:21, & Mark 13:21 that the time of the persecution of the saints<\/strong> or 5th seal, is called the Great Tribulation<\/span>, <\/strong> (G2345<\/a>=persecution<\/span>) <\/strong>‘such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be<\/span><\/em>‘.<\/span> In other words there is only one<\/span> ‘great’ tribulation\/persecution.<\/p>\n

Also notice that Jesus comes in the clouds (Acts 1:9-11, Thess. 4:17, etc), no white horse is mentioned, He stays up there on the clouds & His angels gather His elect from around the world. (When He comes in the white horse at the end, He comes down to earth with<\/strong> His elect & not to gather them). A trumpet will sound, like mentioned in 1 Thess. 4:13\u201318 & 1 Cor. 15:50\u201354.<\/a><\/p>\n

We believers in Christ are also the elect<\/strong>, (not in the Calvinistic way<\/a>) see Matthew 20:1-16; 22:1-14, Luke 18:1-7, Col. 3:11-12<\/a>, 1 Thess.1:4<\/a>, etc. The 144 of the tribes are marked so they wont be harmed<\/strong> as they serve on earth, but are <\/strong>not<\/span> taken to heaven<\/strong><\/span> right away<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
