With Jesus statement in John 15:1-5 we complete the seven “I AM ” statements of Jesus:<\/p>\n

Jesus the True Vine<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 – Jn 15:1-14<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI am the true vine<\/span>, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me<\/strong> that bears no fruit, He takes away.<\/strong> And every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean through the word which I have spoken to you.<\/strong> 4 Remain<\/strong> in Me<\/strong><\/span>, as I also remain in you<\/span>. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself<\/strong>, unless it remains in the vine, neither can you, unless you remain in Me.<\/span><\/p>\n

5 \u201cI am the vine<\/strong>, you are the branches<\/span>. He who<\/strong> remains<\/strong> (G3306)<\/a> in Me<\/strong>, and I in him, bears much fruit.<\/span> For without Me you can do nothing<\/strong>. 6 If a man does not remain in Me, he is thrown out as a branch and withers<\/strong>. And they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you<\/strong><\/span>, you will ask whatever you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.<\/p>\n

9 \u201cAs the Father loved Me, I also loved you. Remain in My love<\/strong>. <\/span>10 If you keep My commandments<\/span>, you will remain in My love,<\/strong><\/span> even as I have kept My Father\u2019s commandments and remain in His love. 11 I have spoken these things to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment: that you love one another, as I have loved you<\/span><\/strong>. 13 Greater love has no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends<\/span>. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.<\/span> <\/strong>15 I no longer call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master does. But I have called you friends, for everything that I have heard from My Father have I made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit<\/strong>, and that your fruit should remain, that the Father may give you whatever you ask Him in My name. 17 This I command you: that you love<\/strong> one another.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Strong’s # G3306<\/a>; <\/strong>to remain<\/strong>, to stay<\/strong><\/span>, to abide, continue to be present, to remain as one.<\/p>\n

This are very important teachings that our Lord gave to His disciples a few hour before departing from earth. Here Jesus used the vine as an example to explain His disciples the relationship<\/span> between believers<\/strong> (branches) and Him<\/strong> (The Vine), so it is important to understand this:<\/p>\n
